We process personal data that (a) your browser automatically transmits when you visit the site (see “Server log files”), (b) you provide when you contact us or request our brochure, and (c) is collected through cookies and analytics where you have given consent. We do not knowingly process special categories of personal data, and the site is not directed at children.
When you access aupe.com, our hosting provider automatically records technical information in server log files: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the referrer URL, and your browser type and operating system. This is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in operating a secure and stable website. The data is not used to identify you and is deleted or anonymised after a short period.
aupe.com is hosted in the European Union by LineVast (linevast.de), which processes data on our behalf as a processor under a data-processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). As hosting is within the EU/EEA, no third-country transfer arises from hosting itself.
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use strictly necessary cookies required for the website and its caching to function — these do not require consent (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Any non-essential cookies — in particular the analytics cookies described below — are set only after you give consent through our cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, with effect for the future, via the cookie settings.
Subject to your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, integrated via the “Site Kit by Google” plugin, to understand how visitors use the site (e.g. pages viewed, approximate location, device and referral source). Google Analytics sets cookies and processes usage data and a shortened IP address.
Provider: Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland); processing in the United States is carried out by Google LLC. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time via the cookie banner. Data may be transferred to the USA; Google relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and its certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, and we have a data-processing agreement in place. If you do not consent, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is collected.
If you contact us by email or submit a form on the site (for example to request our brochure), we process the data you provide — typically your name, email address, company and message — to respond to your enquiry and send the requested material. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and/or our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We use Elementor’s form feature; submissions are delivered to us by email and stored in the website’s database. We keep this correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request and to meet any statutory retention obligations.
Outgoing email from the site (such as our replies and brochure delivery) is sent through the mailbox of our hosting provider on aupe.com — that is, by the same EU host above, not a separate third-party email service. We use the WP Mail SMTP plugin to route and log outgoing mail within the site; a copy of these messages (recipient, subject and content) may therefore be stored in the website for delivery monitoring and troubleshooting, and is deleted periodically.
We create regular backups of the website using UpdraftPlus to protect against data loss. Backups may contain the personal data stored on the site and are retained on a rotating basis before being overwritten or deleted. Backups are kept on our own server at the EU host and are occasionally downloaded by us to local storage for safekeeping; they are not stored with any third-party cloud provider.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it strictly on our behalf under Art. 28 GDPR — currently our EU hosting provider (which also handles our email and stores our backups) and, only with your consent, Google for analytics. We may also disclose data where we are legally required to do so.
We process personal data within the EU/EEA wherever possible. Where a processor transfers data to a third country — in particular Google in the United States for analytics — the transfer is safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by applicable law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
We protect the transmission of personal data between your browser and our website with industry-standard TLS/SSL encryption (HTTPS), which you can recognise by the lock symbol and the “https://” prefix in your browser’s address bar. In addition, we maintain appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or misuse. Please note that no transmission of data over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at .
Where we process your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you have the right to object to that processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). If you object, we will no longer process the data concerned unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. To object, contact us at .
If you believe we have processed your personal data unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Bulgaria this is the Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP): 2 Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov Blvd., Sofia 1592, Bulgaria · kzld@cpdp.bg · www.cpdp.bg. You may also contact the supervisory authority in your country of residence.
We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our website or to legal requirements. The current version is always available on this page.
